From Humble Beginnings...

Carl Wood founded Crestwood Kitchens in 1970 as a family-owned kitchen and bath design business out of his home in Rockland, Maine. In 1979, he had the opportunity to expand to the location on Commercial Street, where Crestwood Kitchens has continued to serve the local and surrounding communities.

Katrina Thompson, Carl's daughter, now runs the business and continues his legacy. For over 50 years, Crestwood Kitchens has been known for its exceptional personal service and unique downeast solutions and creativity.

Katrina Thompson
Owner/Designer
Katrina is the daughter of Carl Wood, founder of Crestwood Kitchens, and is now running the family business that she has been heavily involved in for over 24 years. She loves being able to make her clients dreams a reality, building strong relationships that have developed into the honor of working with multiple generations of families on their kitchen and bathroom renovations over the years. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and the Maine Women's Network and is now focusing on bathroom renovations as a specialty.

In her down time she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling, supporting her community, and spending time with friends.
